Ifá Yorùbá Contemporary Arts Trust is a charitable trust, committed to sharing and maintaining the integrity and relevance of Yorùbá Arts and Culture which spread throughout the diaspora, initially through the transatlantic movement and now through advocates who voluntarily seek it out.

Yorùbá Art and Culture is ancient and revered and in danger of disappearing in its original form. It has evolved and been made into a way of life, sustaining those who have needed it across the world, providing a sense of identity and belonging which is lacking amongst many people of African descent in the diaspora.

Since the 1950's descendants of the Yorùbá’s have been mass migrating to both Europe and America, reconnecting with Yorùbá descended peoples in cities from New York to London.

Ifá Yorùbá intends to celebrate the contemporary Arts of the Yorùbá’s at home in Yorùbá land and throughout the African Diaspora.

The work of the Trust is to nurture and promote connection and collaboration between artists working in different parts of the world and with the places they are working in I-YCAT is at the forefront of contemporising Yorùbá culture in all its forms and seeks to mainstream and promote diversity by spreading awareness to all.

Societies in the West today are facing social and economic problems partly stemming from a lack of cultural identity which Ifá-Yorùbá hopes to help mitigate with educational activities and motivational projects, promoting the Yorùbá arts and culture.
